Mission
The Asian Youth Center of New York is the oldest and largest specialized social service agency for youth in the Korean-American community in the tri-state area. AYCNY operates under the Not-for-Profit Corporation Laws of the State of New York that provides services to minority and immigrant youth and families in the New York City area.
The Mission Statement of the AYCNY is to enhance the quality of life of low-income immigrant and minority youth and their families through education and social service; to prevent delinquency and violence among youth and families through counseling, school meditation, recreational activities, afterschool, college preparation academy, afterschool, leadership training, youth memtorship and group activities; to provide housing and training for runway and homeless youths to become self-sufficient individuals.
